Mr.Radhakrishnan Nair was born in the month of January 1952 in a traditional family in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His father Mr.Gopala Pillai and mother Mrs.Thankamma were farmers. He completed his schooling in his native village Venjaramoodu and migrated to Bangalore in the 1970s. After he came to Bangalore, he completed his Diploma in Tool and dye making in the Government Tool Room and Training Centre. He started his career as a Technical assistant in ITI Ancillary Unit and then became the Technical head and Supervisor of Nethravathi Engineering Works. He also served as the Supervisor in Ashwashakthi Engineering Works. Later on, he started his own business firm Thangam Industrial Gases, dealing with distribution of Industrial gases. Mr.Radhakrishnan Nair from his very young age is actively involved in various organisations and doing voluntary service to the humankind. Initially, he was the Mahadevapura Zonal Secretary for Dooravaninagar Kerala Samajam. He also served as the Vice-President of Dooravaninagar Kerala Samajam. Currently he is the Board member of Dooravaninagar and working as the Treasurer. He is also the member of Karnataka Nair Service Society Dooravaninagar Karayogam. He is happily married to Mrs. Ambika and the couple is blessed with a daughter Priya who is married to Mr.Ajit Babu. Mr.Radhakrishnan Nair is blessed with grandchildren Abhimanyu and Adithi.
